Candidate Statement:
Thank you for this opportunity to serve you the voters. I have been involved in City and County
Government for many years. I have served as a Parks Commissioner, Planning Commissioner and
on the County Private Industry Council with oversite of employment and training programs and
economic development activity. I understand how Government works. Councilmembers strive to
maintain a high quality of life. Experience will help me avoid the errors other communities made
as they grew and lost their quality of life.
Smooth and well-maintained roads, carefully planning our infrastructure needs, no Paid Parking,
and balancing the priorities of our local citizens and small businesses with tourism. “Listening” and
making certain our City Government is Fiscally Responsible and accountable to the public are
priorities to me. Small “g” government, personal freedom and keeping taxes low is what I will fight
for.
I want to work for you to ensure your needs are always at the top of our city's priorities and never
against the voter's interests. I will work hard for you toward a bright future for our city.
